Third-Party Advertising and Cookies

You get free access to pages here at NWDiamondNotes.com because the site is supported by advertising revenue.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit NWDiamondNotes.com. These companies may use information (excluding your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you - goods and services that might solve your problems.

Some of these third-party advertising providers may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on NWDiamondNotes.com.

Google is one of these third-party vendors. Google uses cookies to serve ads on NWDiamondNotes.com. Google uses a special DART cookie that enables it to serve ads to you based upon your visit to this site and others that you visit. Since you're on the Internet to solve problems in your everyday life, this cookie helps by showing you things that are of interest to you.

If you don't want to have this DART cookie on your computer, you can opt out. We feel you'll be making a mistake by opting out, as you then see random ads that aren't targeted to your personal interests. The decision to opt-out of DART cookies is entirely up to you.

You can adjust your cookie settings in your browser on the Tools > Options > Privacy tab in Firefox or Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced in Internet Explorer. For other browsers, be sure to consult the browser's help file for information on accepting or rejecting cookies.

E-Mail Privacy

As someone who gets almost 500 real e-mail messages daily, I know exactly how much harder junk mail makes it to keep up with the stuff requiring my response. I don't like junk in my inbox; I assume you don't want junk in your inbox either. To that end, I will never disclose your email address to anyone for any reason. Your e-mail address will not be sold to any third parties. Your e-mail address will not be given to any third parties. Your e-mail address will not be provided to current or future advertisers of Northwest Diamond Notes.

Your privacy and e-mail security are of utmost importance, which is why I require all subscribers to the Northwest Diamond Notes mailing list to confirm their subscription. When you fill out our subscription form (or send an e-mail to the list subscription address), you will receive an automated message asking you to confirm your subscription. You must reply to this message before your subscription will be activated. If you don't reply to the confirmation message, you subscription will not be activated.

I attempt to make unsubscribing just as easy. All you have to do is send a message to the same address you used to subscribe or use the convenient Web form linked at the bottom of every newsletter issue.

If for some reason, I ever have a need to collect your postal address, I won't sell or give that to anyone either.

Sincerely,

Jake Ludington
