Accenture & Celonis to expedite digital transformation for MANN+HUMMEL

Accenture plc and Celonis have reportedly joined forces to expedite the digital transformation for MANN+HUMMEL, a global provider of filtration solutions, and to become a data-driven entity.

By using intelligent actions and insights, MANN+HUMMEL will optimize and enhance its processes to increase operational excellence and become even more customer centric.

Since 2019, Accenture has backed the data-driven enterprise journey of MANN+HUMMEL.

By collaborating with leading global execution management leader like Celonis, Accenture will encourage the process excellence abilities of the company by assisting the release of Execution Management System of Celonis throughout MANN+HUMMEL in a multi-year program.

Under this planned partnership, MANN+HUMMEL will attain new transparency levels and a fact-based, objective understanding of the operations of its core business processes. This will allow MANN+HUMMEL to recognize performance obstacles in real-time and take automated actions to improve processes and eliminate inefficiencies.

Insights from initial deployment stages have already optimized and standardized the process in the areas of distribution, production, and supply. This will be expanded over the coming months across planning, materials, and logistics to enhance productivity and cycle times, optimize inventory, reduce rework, streamline global execution, and increase automation.

Emese Weissenbacher, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at MANN+HUMMEL stated that the company’s investments and efforts in standardization are all focused on being able to be a step ahead of consumers’ needs.

Weissenbacher added that the deployment of the industry-leading capabilities of execution management and process mining allows the company to produce more data-driven, intelligent insights, decisions, and measures.

Celonis and Accenture partnership will also bolster MANN+HUMMEL in establishing a Celonis CoE (Center of Excellence) that will bring together all meaningful experts to assure effective planning, implementation as well as a synchronized approach.

The CoE will consolidate professional services, partner enablement support, and customer value advisory as well as trained teams of customer support and solution engineering to offer round-the-clock innovation and expertise.
