Ezz Elarab plans Volvo EVs expansion in Egypt; unveils showroom in Cairo

Volvo’s electric vehicles are all set to hit the Egypt roads with Ezz Elarab Automotive Group, sole distributer and importer of Volvo vehicles in Egypt, announcing the inauguration of its new showroom in One Katameya, East of Cairo.

Gerhard Kreindl, Head of Retail and Business Development for Volvo in Middle East, Europe and Africa commented during the inauguration that Volvo Cars is excited to launch the all-electric vehicles in Egypt as soon as possible.

Kreindl mentioned that the car conglomerate also has its plans to launch electric vehicles to the Saudi markets as the government of Saudi Arabia has shown immense interest in the launch of the project and is ready to provide well-established infrastructure.

As per credible sources, the showroom of the car brand is designed according to the international standards of the company, known as ‘The Volvo Retail Experience’.

Imperatively, the mission behind the new showroom is to deliver a customized and top-notch customer experience along with presenting the latest models and advanced solutions added to their vehicles. For the first time in Egypt, the showroom also has a children’s area for a comfortable customer experience.

According to sources, the new Volvo showroom will also showcase the brand-new model of XC60 facelift, making its first appearance across Egypt.

Hisham Ezz Elarab, Chairman of Ezz Elarab Automotive Group claimed that the inauguration of Volvo’s first showroom in East Cairo is the great start for the brand to expand its roots and declare a strong presence of the company across Egypt.

Muhammad Aboul Nour, General Manager, Volvo Egypt at Ezz Elarab Automotive Group stated that the brand is overwhelmed to launch a top-notch Volvo showroom suitable for the Egyptian market in terms of reliability, efficiency and luxury.
