HCL, Microsoft extend partnership to strengthen cybersecurity offerings

HCL Technologies, an Indian multinational information technology company, has recently announced the extension of its partnership with Microsoft to offer advanced cybersecurity capabilities to clients worldwide.

According to HCL, it has accomplished four advanced security specializations at present available to Microsoft partners which include identity and access management advanced specialization, information governance & protection advanced specialization, threat protection advanced specialization, and cloud security advanced specialization

These features enable Microsoft partners’ ability to deliver specialized security services with the help of Azure in complex solution areas.

In addition to this, HCL has also collaborated with MISA (Microsoft Intelligent Security Association), an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers, to redefine its commitment to Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.

A statement issued by HCL states that the company and Microsoft will jointly be looking forward to supporting businesses via today’s interconnected and complex digital landscape. The duo is willing to engage partners with innovative cybersecurity skills for optimizing, migrating, and managing the current workloads to the cloud.

HCL Technologies offers all-inclusive solutions that are integrated with the products of Microsoft that incorporate the complete range of compliance, security, and identity management, added the firm.

At present, organizations are facing multiple security challenges associated with distinctiveness and access management, monitoring, and protecting the security of their IP and customer data.

However, cybercriminals are getting an edge over impacting supply chain infrastructure and operations. HCL technologies in unison with the Microsoft Ecosystem Unit aim to offer an array of crucial solutions that will help customers expand cloud deployments safely.

The combination of its cybersecurity platform solutions and domain knowledge, along with Microsoft’s range of security products covering identity and access, hybrid cloud infrastructure security, information protection, OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) security and cloud app security, gives enterprises the building blocks against a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
