Huawei presents smart glasses powered by Harmony OS in China

Smartphone brand- Huawei- has reportedly launched a brand-new pair of smart eyewear powered by Harmony OS in China, featuring a detachable front frame along with supporting simultaneous connections of two devices.

According to sources, the novel product, labeled Huawei Smart Glasses, has been launched in a set of 3 frame types- a classic frame, a retro round frame and a stylish pilot, having a wide range of color options. It has been speculated that the design of these glasses has a 128mm square shape ultra-thin-large-amplitude stereo speakers on the temple for streaming of music and hands-free calling.

Furthermore, the glasses are fitted with an inverse sound field audio system to minimize leakage of sound and to reduce outdoor sound pickup.

For the uninitiated, sporting the Harmony OS, the smart glasses enable simultaneous connection of two devices where the two could be switched with a single key setting. The touch feature allows to answer phone calls, switch audio lanes with just a flick of the finger and play or pause music.

As per credible reports, the smart glasses also feature a function related to cervical spine health in which sensors fitted in the watch keep a tab of bad posture of the body like the position of head aligned with spine. These smart glasses also keep a track of the time span of a person’s head hanging to alert the person regarding spine health risks.

Allegedly, the Huawei glasses claim to last for 16 hours after being fully charged and provide a talk time of approximately 4.5 hours along with 6 hours of playback music. The other features include real-time alerts, magnetic charging system and are IPX 4 rated for splash and sweat resistance.

The Smart Glasses are reportedly available in China currently in two variations - dark lenses in Yuan 1899 and clear lenses at Yuan 1699.
