Motorola announces launch of 5G variant of Moto G Stylus in 2021

American consumer electronics and telecommunications company- Motorola has reportedly announced that it will be launching the Moto G Stylus that supports 5G in 2021. Notably, the Moto G Stylus 5G will be equipped with advanced specifications and a unique design and will be available across the U.S., although the date of release in other markets has not yet been declared by the firm.

Sources close to the news reveal that the 5G variant will be designed with different features and designs. For example, the smartphone may carry a different camera panel design on the back. Moreover, since it’s a 5G phone, there may be a larger battery with a possible change in chipset.

Motorola had launched the G Stylus in the first half of 2021. This latest version was launched for USD 299 in two color options namely- white and black. With respect to speculations, Moto G Stylus 2021 extended a 6.8-inch FHD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC. With 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the phone comes with a 4000mAh battery.

Moreover, the smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup comprising of a 48- megapixel primary sensor, an 8-mega pixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, as well as a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Notably, the Moto G Stylus 2021 edition is packed with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.  

For the record, Motorola also launched the Moto G20 handset in selected markets for a starting cost of EUR 149. It also comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision 90Hz display with HD+ resolution.

Moto G20 comes with a face unlock feature and a rear fingerprint reader. It also has a quad-rear camera setup with an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
