Indian hospitality chain, OYO Rooms has announced that it will hire around 300 technical experts, including software developers, designers, engineers, product managers, and data scientists, in positions ranging from entry-level to senior leadership roles.
Citing details, OYO said that it is looking for full-stack teams, and Android and iOS engineers, who have critical skill sets and expertise in Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Information Security.
The new design, product, and engineering teams will be responsible for creating long-term capabilities for OYO from the ground up while also updating the current tech stack.
The hospitality chain is poised to unveil various innovations and commit to technology investments, further enhancing profits for hotel owners while improving consumer experience. It also intends to emphasize on long-term growth and technology to get back on track to profitability.

OYO has already begun onboarding over 50 mid-level IT talent and 150 campus recruits from renowned universities throughout India. Candidates will go through a series of technical discussions based on their competency, followed by in-depth discussions with OYO leaders. In addition, throughout the upcoming placement season, roughly 100 job offers will be made.
OYO claims that the hiring will play a key role in accelerating its transformation to a global full-stack technology provider for small & mid-sized hotels and homes. The company believes in a total compensation and reward model, and has thereby rolled out comprehensive pay packages composing of fixed pay, stock options and bonuses for all employees.
