RapidDeploy raises $29 Mn to empower 9-1-1 centers with data

Texas-based CAD and analytics platform- RapidDeploy, has secured USD 29 million financing through Series B funding round, lately. The recent investment series was led by Morpheus Ventures with contribution from Ericsson Ventures, Greatpoint Ventures, Tao Capital Partners, Tau Ventures, and others.

It has been speculated that RapidDeploy would use the capital raised to fund go-to-market advancements and research and development, while also empowering the American 9-1-1 centers with crucial data.

Speaking on the recent development, CEO and Co-Founder of RapidDeploy, Steve Raucher stated that the firm has entered a stage of hypergrowth, and with the trust of prominent enterprises in public telecommunications and safety, RapidDeploy is well positioned to support public safety officials across the U.S as they transform their 9-1-1 centers.

Steve added that the latest investment would allow the company to continue its trajectory and make data-driven Unified Critical Response the industry standard.

On the other hand, Founding Partner at Morpheus Ventures, Mark Dyne mentioned that the future of emergency services is in data, which creates a more responsive and faster 9-1-1 center.

Dyne also cited that Morpheus Ventures believes that the platform built by RapidDeploy would offer a necessary breadth of capabilities that make the dream of next-gen 9-1-1 service a reality for metropolitan and rural communities across the States.

It has also been marked that Morpheus is excited to be investing in this future venture with Steve and his team. For the uninitiated, Mark Dyne has recently joined the RapidDeploy Board of Directors.

It has been reported that through its integrated mapping platform, RadiusPlus, RapidDeploy offers data from vehicles, smart phones, home security systems, and more directly to 9-1-1 telecommunicators working in one of America’s 6,000+ pubic sectors.

Moving ahead, through its Eclipse Analytics, RapidDeploy provides personalized reporting and analytics on real-time call data which supports operational and data-driven performance improvements.
